In some areas of the world, meditation has been a part of people’s lives for thousands of years. The rest of the world, however, has started picking up on it only in the last few decades. Although the understanding and application of meditation is becoming more and more widely spread, it is still misunderstood by many people. The wisdom of meditation was not made part of their school education, nor was it taught at home. Simply because it is unknown, meditation is often perceived as mysterious. People think it is only for ‘new age people’, that it is about learning to stop thinking, adjusting diets, sitting cross-legged on a cushion for hours or that it can only be done in remote places of silence. But none of that is true. Once you get to understand the power of the wisdom of meditation, it will blow your mind. There is true science behind it!

So, what is meditation all about? To quote Vikas Malkani, founder of SoulCentre and creator of our very effective meditation program: “Meditation is the science of freedom and power”.

And that line says it all in a nutshell. When you apply the principles and techniques of meditation, it leads to freedom and power. Isn’t that what we all want? Can you imagine that you are no longer overpowered by your thoughts and emotions and that you can create a life full of happiness, peace of mind, success and abundance? That you experience a positive flow instead of a constant struggle? That is what meditation brings. It teaches you to master of your own life. Even simple techniques as short as 3-5 minutes are known to bring tremendous changes into people’s lives.

Applying the wisdom and meditation techniques affects many areas of life. A few meditation benefits: -

Stronger health (both mental and physical)

The benefits are attractive I am sure you agree, and the great part is that anyone and everyone can learn to meditate.
